Farm/Art DTour: A Weekend In Reedsburg With Friends
Bubble Pub created by Jenny Hale and Gail Katz-James
My friends, Jami, Aaron, Molly, Betsy, Robin and I visited Reedsburg, Wisconsin earlier this month to see Farm/Art Dtour-a 50 mile drive through Sauk County with temporary art installations, local food vendors, performances and more!
On the way to Reedsburg from Chicago! Betsy and Molly in my glasses. :)

Robin found this mushroom for me! Fungus!!!!!!
We visited Wormfarm and of course I was welcomed into the chickens home.
The Corner Pub. This picture expresses how good the day (and the beer) was.
We camped at Orange Cat Community Farm. Acorn squash at night!
In the morning a chicken got out and she liked being cuddled.
So we cuddled her.

Craft Your Heart Out 4!
Craft night is going strong. I hosted my 4th one yesterday. I shared delicata squash, cider, cinnamon sugar apples, and pumpkin cookies with everyone while we crafted and conversed. It was wonderful!
Thiel, Kim, Annie, Naomi and Hope!
Hope made a chicken!
Kim made hand puppets!
Sarah and Desmond made art with tape, markers and chickens!

Chickens on Display at Delicious!
Life has been very eventful since I got back from Portland, Oregon. Right when I got home I had only a week to make art for a solo show at Delicious (3827 N. Lincoln Ave.), a vegetarian/vegan coffee shop in Chicago. For this show titled, Chicken Thoughts, I was interested in transforming my chicken cards into something much larger with more possibilities and it was really fun to do so.
The work will be up till the end of September. The art is on sale ranging from $10-$45. Send me an email if you are interested in a piece. kimguare@yahoo.com
